I am super impressed with this box, i love and have used everything in it so far.

Inside my box this month i got -

Eyeko Skinny Liner - Plum
Clarins Extra Firming Night Cream/Day Cream
FAB Body Moisturiser (Although it says Body Wash in my leaflet..confused me)
MURAD - Perfecting Primer (Drewy Finish)

I have been using the Clarins day/night cream everyday since i got my box and i am currently loving it, i've wanted to test out some day/night creams for a while and was so happy when i opened my box to find these. I suffer from dry skin and have been using Palmers cocoa butter for the past few years and it's deeply moisturising for my type of skin. I may purchase some Clarins products after i have finish my samples.

The Eyeko skinny liner is such a lovely colour (Plum) When i buy eye liners myself i always get black so it's been nice to test out different colours since signing up to glossy box.

The Fab moisturiser is a nice product, i have been using on my hands just recently and it has left them feeling nice and soft, but i cant really get on with the smell of this product, its got a real chemical smell to it, the same as the face wash i received in a past box.

The MURAD primer i have used once so far and i am fairly impressed with the product, its a nice light liquid with a foundation colouring to it. I am currently getting through my Loreal studio secrets primer which i love.

Once again i am super happy with this months box, each month seems to get better and better.

If you haven't already and you don't mind spending £12 a month then i suggest to give it ago. I'm quite open to trying anything new and seeing as most of the items you get (especially the full sized ones) would easily come to over £10 anyway.

Collection 2000 - Cream Puff Lip Cream

I've wanted to try this Cream Puff from Collection 2000 since it was released, i picked one up from Superdrug when i was in Northampton at the weekend.

I ended up with Cotton Candy, which is a nice mid pink. It's so creamy and soft that it doesn't dry out my lips as quickly as lipstick, if i keep applying it along with Vaseline i can get away with wearing it all day.

I will have to collect them all, they are perfect for me and the trouble i have with my lips.

Deborah Lippmann Nails -

I haven't purchased anything from Deborah Lippman although i have seen it about, the nail varnish is a beautiful deep red glitter varnish which seems nice and thick so hopefully i don't have to apply too many coats. The stripped to go wipes i haven't used yet, i'm waiting till i'm desperate and really in need of some nail varnish remover.

Cargo Lip Gloss

I have tried this product a couple of times, there is barely any in the tube so i'm saving it for special occasions, this is the sort of colour and gloss i can get away with wearing, it's not too thick and this colour isn't too pigmented for me so i don't get stained, cracked lips. As i've said in the past i suffer from horrible lips which constantly dry and peel so i am very unlucky i don't get to wear any of these beautiful shades of lipsticks and lip glosses but this product felt nice on my lips and also not too sticky (which i hate with some glosses)

Rituals foam shower gel - T'ai Chi

This is so refreshing and you don't need much of is at all, just a little squirt and it foams up nicely so you can cover yourself in it.

Nouveau Lashes

I tested this out quickly before going to work the day after i got my box, for near enough a full sized freebie bottle of mascara i was quite impressed, it seems quite similar to my Loreal mascara i am currently using and have been for the past year, so there's nothing else really i can compare it with because i can't really remember what i used to use, eekk.

FAB Face Cleanser

This sounds great but i havnt got round to testing it yet.

Ombre Hair (From blonde) ..Again

So it's been roughly a year since i Ombre'd my hair (I can't actually believe how quickly this year has gone) After my first Ombre i went red, then back to blonde (not forgetting that dodgy red/orange stage in the middle) but after i last had my roots done i haven't been so happy with my blonde locks, i wanted to add a bit of warmth back into my hair and i haven't been able to get my mind off Ombre-ing it again.

I decided to go for Loreal's Light Golden Brown to try and match up with my natural hair

I was a bit worried at first during the process as it's always quite messy and i wasn't sure how dramatic it was going to look, but i told myself not to panic as we all know dye looks a hell of a lot darker while it's processing.

I read up a few different ways of doing this from Blonde (rather then bleaching the ends) and i decided to go with my original plan. I started by sectioning my hair into 2 - top and bottom, and started dying the top half (roots to mid way down) of the bottom section, then doing the same process section by section, when i got to the top clump of hair i tried to cover the whole section bar the tips.

I'm pleased with it, It's nice and subtle just what i wanted for the winter, the photo's don't really do it justice because of the lighting but i'm sure there will be more to come. I have yet to do my hair extensions so that might add some more drama to my hair :-)

I was lucky enough to pick up this special edition lilac foil nail paint when i spent over £6 in Superdrug on Barry M products. I also picked up the black crackle and gold foil (which i LOVE using together) I've noticed using these two together gives a leopard print look which i can't get enough of at the moment.

You can probably tell i'm wearing false nails to pull off this effect as my natural nails are awful.
I've also just bought a very Christmas-y Red Glitter nail varnish by BM, It's perfect for this time of year, so pretty (I Shall take pictures next)

L.A Colors - Nail Lacquer

In the little town near to where i live there is a small-ish store called Boyes, which basically sells discounted items and are usually stacked high with discounted cosmetics. They have recently brought in a new brand which i've never seen before called L.A Colors, a whole section of make-up and nail varnish. I'm obsessed with the nail varnish at the moment, there's a huge selection of colours to choose from.

The first two to add to my collection -

Lilac frost

Metallic purple (my favourite)

This is a terrible picture but it really is a lovely thick, glittery colour.

I apologise for the awful photos, i don't have any fake nails at the moment and my natural nails are horrible, weak and they peel so showing off nail varnish on my natural nails never turns out well.

Has anyone else tried L.A. Colors? What do you think? Any colours to suggest?

Oh..and the best part is...all their products are £1 each, i love bargains.

I was really looking forward to receiving the November Glossybox, being my second box the anticipation to see whether it would be better or slightly more disappointing compared to my first box (October) was driving me crazy. But i got it, and loved it. As usual i haven't tested anything out yet apart from the foot crème - funnily enough i got home from work the day i received my Glossybox and my feet were in agony, so i was glad to see that. The foot crème was very minty and nice and cooling on my feet.

Because i am lazy and awful at updating i am going to wait till i have tested all the products in my box before reviewing it, i just wanted to show you what i got.

I was excited to get nail foils/wraps, i've been eyeing them up for months so i now have a chance to test them :-)

So if your anything like me you've seen and wanted to get your mits on this Alexandra Wang studded bag, and if your like me you can't afford such things, so we go for the cheaper option ....EBAY. I've seen this floating about on bloggers youtube videos (hauls etc) and HAD to get one myself.

I LOVE IT. I ordered it from Ebay (Bag that style) I didn't think the price was too bad and the delivery was super fast. I opted for the strap version so at least i have a choice if i need it on my shoulder. The size is perfect, its made cheap but isn't going to break after one use, smells a bit like fishy glue but that won't last long, it's already faded a lot.

Sleek - Molten metal duo eye shadow

I managed to get hold of one of these from Superdrug in MK, i ended up with the gold set as there was no sign of the silver metallic one and i was lucky to get the gold as it was the last one. I've seen this reviewed on other blogs and couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
Roughly around £6.99, i was tempted to pick up the Brow Kit (£7.99) but decided against it....for now.

I bought this over a week ago and only got round to testing it today, i will admit it was a quick test as i was busy and heading out soon after. I applied quickly without primer and with liquid eyeliner, the results at first were great, really lovely and stood out. After wearing it for about 4-5 hours i noticed (when i eventually looked in a mirror) that it had faded most of my eyeliner away and gathered in the creases of my eye lids...not a good look, But i'm not giving up on it yet, like i said it was a quick test.

Celebrating 25 years of Zelda

So as far as geeky posts go this is at the top for me. I took my boyfriend to see The Legend of Zelda 25th anniversary symphony orchestra on Tuesday as part of his birthday present, he is one of the biggest Zelda fans you'll find. It was a lovely day out and a beautiful show in the evening, nothing sounds better then a live orchestra right in front of your eyes...and ears.

I tested the Stila eyeliner after i opened my box, it isn't a colour i would usually buy but it's lovely once it's on, a lovely glittery green that really stands out.

I'll be honest, i wasn't expecting much from this before i received it, purely because of all negative feedback from other bloggers, but so far i'm very happy with my first GlossyBox, everything in it i will use (and i am excited to use) I like the idea of this so i will keep subscribing until i have a run of 3 months that i'm not happy with. I was very impressed with the packaging, as sad as it sounds i love cute packaging so was overwhelmed with how much effect was put in to it.
I will update you on the other products soon, now i am going to have my hair dyed :-)

Roots, roots, bloody roots

My hair is such a mess at the moment, will finally be getting round to having my roots done this coming week (hopefully) I was thinking of growing it out and having natural ombre hair (if you can call it that) but i know what i'm like, i'll get bored and dye it all over again...and i'm starting to turn grey so i cant be dealing with that as well.

Glossy Box thoughts

Now I love testing out new products so when I heard about these 'Glossy Boxes' and so on I started to get rather excited. I have noticed a lot of bloggers at the moment seem sometimes disappointed in what is selected for them in these little treat boxes, but is it really all that bad? As far as i am aware you pay £10+p&p a month and get sent a beautifully presented package which holds 5 sample products for you to test, and some lucky people I've noticed have been sent near enough full sized bottles of products. I love surprises so will definitely be signing up for this within the next few weeks, and even if I did receive a bunch of ol' crap, at the end of the day it's my own fault for signing up to something KNOWING that what is being sent to me is meant to be surprise, am I right, or am I right? Well my first step is deciding which one to subscribe to, Glossy Box, Feel Unique or Carmine recommended by the lovely Milly - Pearls and Poodles.
I'm sure i will choose one :-)

Sleek - Nude collection Au Naturel Palette

Hi girls

I managed to get my hands on the nude palette by Sleek, finally after fighting my way through the mess in Superdrug Kings Lynn. I tell you, Peterborough and Kings Lynn are a bloody disgrace - they are the closest superdrugs that sell Sleek and every time i visit to stock up on sleek its disgusting, a total mess, palettes are thrown all over the place, there's barely any stock of anything and what is left to buy..well you wouldn't want to because it looks like its been used for months and put back...yuck yuck yuck. I'm not being over the top when i say EVRYTIME i go its the same
So moving on from my rant, I managed to get a nice, undamaged palette from Kings Lynn, I was so excited, I love sleek and I very rarely get what I want because of the above issues.
This range is perfect for me as I don't wear wild colours, I stick to naturals and browns so when I heard about this range I knew I had to get it.

So I took a big step today, well not really but it was something that I had wanted to do for a while but didn't have the guts to because I still really loved the idea of it. I have removed the videos I had uploaded onto YouTube (hauls, reviews etc.) I didn't have many videos but at the moment i don't have any interest in making any more, its been months since i last uploaded anything on to it so i thought i would say my goodbyes, my channel is still there but there is nothing to watch :-( boo

I also hated the negative feedback you would get from some people, i notice it a lot with other youtubers who i think are fantastic and constantly upload videos and they know what they are talking about, its really sad how awful people can be. Now i'm not saying i got it all the time but i would get the odd one now and again, and i know it shouldn't bother me but it did put me off doing anything with my channel. I still love watching everyone else and maybe i will go back to it one day.

Fake Nails - What a bargain!

Hi guys.

Just a quickie, I nipped into savers to look for some anti-frizz for my hair, I found a cheap one for £1...its rubbish and makes your hair look greasy but i did get some really nice French manicure fake nails, they were no more then £3, nice and petite so they fit perfectly on my small nails and with a coat of clear varnish on top they have not chipped at all, I also haven't had a single nail come off since Thursday, Day 5 and going well.

Me and Paul popped over to Kings Lynn on Sunday to pick some bits up from HMV ....but as usual i couldnt resist a quick look round primark.
I didn't get much but i will show you what i got pictures of

So a lot of money was spent on Sunday. We started off by having a lovely English breakfast in a little cafe we'd never been before (we seem to get into a routine of doing the same things and going to the same places) So that was nice and different, headed to HMV to get what we really came for..wait for it...blu-rays..yes, limited edition comic book art style exclusive to HMV blu-rays, what a mouthful lol. But they are freaking awesome and we are total geeks.

We also found a lovely little sweet shop thats just opened in Lynn which to my surprise sold FLIPZ....I LOVE FLIPZ and you cannot buy them anywhere over here now so that made our day extra special.

I also bought Paul a retro style transformers t-shirt for his birthday and got myself some navy floral palazzo pants from Primark, I love love loooove them, im not sure if they suit me but i had to get them, i have not uploaded a picture as i need to cut about a foot off the bottom of them as im a short arse :-D

Lip Stains - Best buys?

Evening all.

Recently i have seen a newish product out on the market 'Lip Stains' made by a few brands. Now i have a problem when it comes to lipstick, all the lovely pretty colours that i love like pearls and baby pinks i am unable to wear due to my awful dry lips, i am constantly applying vaseline, if i leave my lips for too long without any moisture they tend to dry out and peel very quickly so wearing lipstick is a big no no for me, and this makes me very sad. Last year i purchased Sleek's pout polish in pink cadillac 947 which i can just about get away with wearing if i remember to re-apply along with my vaseline.

So my question is after all of that...have you tested out these lip stains? are they any good? and which brand would you recommend? If colour can stain my lips i don't have too much of a messy problem when it comes to my lips peeling.
So let me know what you think if any of you have tried these.

Lauren's Way Tanning Lotion review

This post is long awaited i do apologise, i have been busy with work and going on holiday.
After reading Milly's review of Lauren's tan from The Only Way Is Essex i couldn't help treating myself. Since i have seen it in the shops i have religiously bought St Moriz and have always loved it, but after hearing all the good things about Lauren's Way and how deep the colour is i just HAD to try it.

The packaging is average, product came well packaged in a larger then needed box, which i guess was good because NOTHING could have squashed my tan heh. Comes with a little thank you card which is quite sweet, and some awful spelling mistakes.
OK..so on with the product itself...I BLOODY LOVE THIS, and i have a feeling i will be re-purchasing it, but lets start from the beginning, The lotion is dark, very dark, it does dry fairly quickly but it gives you plenty of time to rub it in.

The morning after i used it i actually could not believe my eyes over how dark i looked, it developed into a lovely natural dark tan, not orangey and not smelling of old biscuits. The only way i can describe the smell is the same as Milly, like cucumber, its not nutty or vanilla-y as some i have tried in the past smell, its lovely and fresh.

On the right is my natural colour of my leg and the left is my tanned arm....a lot of difference hey.

Since this product has come out i have heard a lot of good things about it. So i've ordered a bottle of the lotion and will hopefully be receiving it soon, when i do i will let you know what i think. Foxy Locks Hair Extensions

OK so it wasn't long before i gave in and finally bought another set of foxy locks.
I am so very pleased with these, the quality and thickness is amazing and so worth it compared to the others i bought last month.
I purchased the Deluxe 20inch 160g set in Caramel blonde.

Love these, they are the best I've had, i will always recommend these extensions.

Hair extensions - a sneak peek

Hi all.

This isn't going to be a full blown review because i haven't got all the pictures i want.
OK, so after all the fuss of dying my hair red and going back to blonde, my original hair extensions were ruined, being bright red i didn't want to waste my time and money trying to strip the colour out, so i thought i would treat myself to some new ones. My original ones were from Foxy Locks and they were awesome, nice and thick, good quality and they are not thin at the ends.
Because i am very impatient i decided i couldn't afford to buy any foxy locks but i desperately wanted some so i knew of a ebay shop called Jenny's hair extensions, she's had a lot of positive feedback and the price was what i wanted to pay at the time.
I received the extensions and they were just what i expected, the quality was good and they were 100-110grams in weight, the colour is the closest i could get to my hair as my hair is highlighted and i paid roughly £30 for them...i am disappointed..i don't know why because i was expecting them to be how they were but im spoilt and want some foxylocks...and i want them now :-p
At the moment i am going to buy another set of Jenny's and sew them onto my existing ones to make them double the thickness, i will not be happy until they are thicker!!

So the long road to getting my 'perfect hair' has finally come to an end, i have achieved the look i wanted without having to pay a bomb at a salon (with the help of loreal, my boyfriend and his mum)

My hair originally (last week) was a dark, gingery blonde.

It was acceptable but it was quite boring and completely washed me out, i decided to try and get back to my natural colour which was going to be a challenge because I've been dying my hair since i was about 14 or so so picking a hair dye was confusing me.

I've been itching to test out one of these mousse dyes, i've heard a lot of good things about them and picked up a Loreal one, Sublime Mousse in 70 Pure dark blonde.

Getting straight to it..the dye was great, it was easy to apply, no mess either which is a plus. The one con i did have with it was the amount you get, I've read that other bloggers had plenty left after covering their whole head, unfortunately i didn't. I could have done with a lot more, it was a real struggle to cover my hair, yes so i probably should have got 2 as my hair is quite long now but i didn't think i would need it, never mind because i managed to blend it all together and it didn't look too horrific.

The colour was slightly darker then i thought it would be but i think its more of a true match to my natural colour.

I was lucky enough to have my Boyfriends mum help me with the highlights (she knows what she's doing..yay) I picked up another Loreal perfect blonde highlighting kit, this is the same product i used when i Ombre'd my hair.

Though my hair is quite long we started with the cap (which for a £6 home dye kit was very good) After hours of pulling my hair through tiny holes we finally got a good amount out but decided to leave the rest and underneath and foil them at a later date if i wanted more blonde. After all the pain i was shocked at just how well it had come out, just what i wanted, the bleach had given my hair different shades of blonde which mix well with the dark blonde.

This is the first time in a LONG time i have sadly fallen in love with my hair lol, and the colour doesn't wash me out, i feel bronzed again :-D

Now all i need is hair extensions to match (double yay)

I am actually shocked at just how good Colour B4 by Scott Cornwall is. My hair was a state, the ends had really faded and i was really annoyed with it. I picked this up from Superdrug yesterday for £11.25. I wasnt going to use it just yet but you know how impatient i am.

My plan was to use colour b4, then run out to buy a hair dye as i wasnt sure what colour my hair would be and didnt want to buy something that was too light or too dark.
Silly me didnt take a photo of how my hair looked before, so heres one that wasnt taken a couple of weeks ago, keeping in mind the ends were slightly lighter then in this picture because it had faded to a horrible dull red mess.

I mixed the product and started applying to my hair, i was worried at first that there wouldnt actually be enough to cover the whole of my hair but to my suprise after applying the product there was plenty spare.
I covered my head with clingfilm and left for 60mins.
When the 60mins were up i spent 5minutes rinsing my hair, then added the buffer liquid, rinsed that for 5mins and added the buffer liquid again. After i eventually rinsed all that out i took a sneak peek in the mirror and thought NO WAY, even though my hair was wet (and your hair always looks darker when wet) i could see a difference.
I towel dryed my hair as much as i could then wacked the blow dryer on it.
Here is the end result.

The end result was a natural bright orangey blonde, i'd say more of a intense strawberry blonde. Unlike bleaching it didnt leave your hair looking a very un-natural orange/yellow colour. I am shocked at how much this product lightened my hair, i thought it would be alot darker then this and a bit of a mix of colours.

I've been telling everyone who is thinking of changing their hair colour to try this first. I would totally recommend this product, its a gem!

Hair Extensions

Hello Girls.

After all the fuss of getting my hair to that perfect red shade i have now (as you probably already know) decided to fade it out and go blonde again. Red is lovely...i love it, but it's just too hard to maintain and i dont want to be dying my hair every single week.
I am now without hair extensions, I have my Foxylocks...which are VERY red and i cannot wear them in my hair anymore, the colour is a totally different shade and doesnt blend in. So my question is...Does anyone have any suggestions for hair extensions. I dont want to pay a bomb and i dont want them to be paper thin, theres been too many times when i've ordered a pack of hair and they have been so thin its barely worth it. I dont want to be waiting weeks for them, when i need them i'll want to buy them asap. I've spent all evening searching them web, trying to find the best price and thickness ..i cant do it anymore, its stressing me out.
So let me know :-)

Red hair - Too much to handle

Hey Girls.
I decided yesterday that as much as i love my red hair, i wont be dying it red anymore. For the past year i have had trouble with dyes fading quickly but this red is just unbelievable, if i want to keep the colour vivid and not a dull red it means dying it every week - 2 weeks and i just cant handle that, i also cant stand the fact my bath water is always pink. I dyed my hair last week, and the result was perfect, just the shade of red i was after...a couple of washes later and its dull again, i went to put my hair extensions in last night and WOAH.. you could notice a massive difference, so now i have dull..short red hair, great! Im going to avoid dying it for as long as i can..atleast until my bath water is clear from any pink-ness. Im tempted to test out a product i have noticed in Superdrug called Colour B4, i dont know how good it is but it's worth a try, then gradually make my way to a blonde shade again, followed by buying some new hair extensions...OH i just want to cry.

The other thing that put me off was the fact im going away to Menorca in June and i dont want there to be red patches in the pool, i might freak other people out :-p

New Look

I made a giant mistake today, i thought i would browse the delights of new look in Kings Lynn, It's bigger then the other stores in my area and i usually find something i like in there.
At christmas my aunt gave me a voucher for New Look and since i've had it i havnt been able to find a single item that i've wanted...until now, OHH i could have bought the whole shop, unfortunately i have told myself im not prepared to spend anymore money on clothes until i have lost some weight, But.. i do think there is a problem with my scales at home, I started a diet..i was a very good girl and lost 3lbs in my first week...a week later i jump on the scales again and i have put on nearly half a stone..??? WHAAAT??? I dont think they work!!
Sooo many pretty things in New Look, i did treat myself to a necklace but that is as far as it goes.

As you know from my last post i have been moaning about wanting my hair a brighter red, and i eventually got round to doing it.

I stocked up on pre-lightners & the right shade of red dye to keep me happy for a little while longer.

I used a loreal bleach highlighter that i had left over from ombre'ing my hair and a pre-lightner for my hair extensions.

My hair lightened into a gingery blonde and faded up into a light red.

My hair has come out the exact colour i wanted it to, its a nice vivid red without looking too letter box.

XXL Live color

I've decided i want to go a brighter red, i first dyed it a dark red to start off with just incase i didnt like it too bright. I now want to go a brighter red so picked up a XXL Live color.

I didnt lighten my hair before because i wanted to know how this color would look first. It has lightened it but obviously not to the colour i want, as you can see from the pictures and i didnt have the best lighting for taking pictures.

I know im going to have to pre-lighten and then re-dye my hair, but that can wait for now, unless anyone has any tips :-)

Ambre Solaire no streaks bronzer, Dry mist

As i've probably mentioned before i dont usually fake tan my face, i just slap foundation on and blend it into the tan on my neck. I've attempted tan on my face before but because the skin on my face can sometimes become quite dry i usually wake up in the morning with a horrid patchy brown poo face, trying to cover it up with foundation never works and i hate the idea of scrubbing the hell out of my skin.

So i was recommended by a friend to use Garnier's Ambre Solaire no streaks bronzer dry body mist. It photographed incredibly well and my friend said good things about it.

I got this one from Superdrug for around £7, there was a smaller bottle aswell and one for Light skin. So i removed all my makeup, moisturised, let my skin settle for a while then applied the tan to my face and neck, as it says its a dry mist but i still rubbed it into my skin after i applied it as it doesnt dry instantly. It smells like fake tan, but not a horrible biscuit like smell.

I woke up in the morning with a nice, even, slightly bronzed face, which was just the result i was hoping for. I had no problem with my foundation and it was still slightly visable even after removing my makeup, i applied another layer the next night and my face was even more bronzed the next morning...fantastic.

Yep...im liking this product, its great to top up the tan on your hands as well :-)

That Perfect Beach Body

Ok...So after piging out over the christmas period i've realised that i now have until June to get my beach body into shape. I've moaned all my life about my weight, i've tried to diet but because i dont see results instantly i give up. Lets hope this gives me the push to actually do something. I dont want to lose alot of weight and end up looking ill, i just want to feel comfortable.

I started my new job last week and im really enjoying it, so new year, new job...lets see how long this lasts until i have a mars bar in my mouth and start complaining that im sooo stressed at work lol.

St Moriz Dark Tan

I went over to the same spot i always grab my St Moriz from and they didnt have any mousse, i thought nevermind because i have a full pot at home, walked round to look at hair products and there they were right on the top shelf...but..as i picked one up i noticed right at the back was the same product but in slightly different packaging and i noticed the word DARK ...so i grabbed it and ran to the till.

Now i wasnt sure at first if it was a darker version or they just changed the packaging but after using it im sure its darker..alot darker, i only need one coat and it lasts all week, its fantastic.

Has anyone else found the darker one, or is it just me? I cant find anything about it on the web.

Hoping everyone had a super new year and didnt get into too much trouble, can't say i did an awful lot, went to dinner my my boyfriend, cousin and best friend, ate some yummy food and some cocktails.

I've recently dyed my hair a dark red so thought id get a snap of which dye i went for in the end.

Picked up some Vaseline lip therapy, the new cocoa butter one...which is to die for, i could eat it.

I stopped by a place called Boyes where i usually get my fake tan and discounted makeup bits from and came across St Mortiz Dark Tan, yay..the darker the better :-)

I 've found out that it's quite difficult to take a picture of myself to try and show off my hair colour, cause cameras dont seem to want to pick up the colour. Anyway..i like it.

DIY Ombre hair

After putting it off..and putting it off even longer, and totally backing out and going to buy red hair dye..and coming back with another bleach kit, i decided to ombre my hair tonight, and im glad i did.

i was putting it off for so long as i was scared, for one i had no idea what i was doing and where i was going to start, and two...what if it went hideously wrong..i have to go to work tomorrow lol.

Anyway..here are the results, i apologise for the terrible quality photos and no makeup, no doubt i'll be snapping away with my camera tomorrow :-)

Ombre hair...im going for it

I want a slight change so instead of going for bright red which has been on my mind this past week i thought i would test out the ombre hair.

Going for this look

Probably not going to go as high as the last picture, probably half way up my extensions and parts of my real hair, the tips and some streaks in my fringe etc

I did a little test of the colour result on an old strand of my extensions, this was the result

If my whole head was this colour it would look awful on me but mixed in with the brown i think it looks really nice. what do you think?

Mini Primark haul

So i have returned from my wonderful holiday in Menorca which was bliss. And now i have come back to the real world i thought i would treat myself to a little trip to Primark with my boyfriend before i went back to work. The closest Primark to us is in Lincoln which is just over an hours drive from where we live, which is poo.

I picked up some awesome biker boots (which i dont have pictures of) and some plain tops/shirts

I wanted to show off some pictures i took of the jewellery i picked.

I saw Samantha Marie (Beautycrush) was showing this little gem off in her primark haul video and i instantly fell in love with it, i had a similar one years ago which was from Claires, but it went green very quickly and i didnt like it after that.

Eyeko Tinted Cream and Graffiti Eyeliner

Hello Ladies

Eyeko had 25% off at the begining of the month so i took up the discount and purchased another graffiti eyeliner pen and some of the very popular tinted cream. I have tried and still have the original cream which is wonderful.

Because i tan i was really interested in testing out the tinted cream and i must say i am loving it, its a lovely bronzed glittery yummy cream, very moisturising (which my skin desperately needs)

Its great, i can slap it on if i dont feel like wearing any makeup and i still look rather healthy, rather then having a terrible white face and tanned body lol. Or i usually put it under or on top of my foundation.

My updates are becoming more rare recently i am sorry.

here is a little reviews of the new Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara.

Rimmel claim that his mascara makes your lashes look longer and fuller, it contains an ingredient that helps lashes to grow. They say after 30 days of use your lashes will look instantly longer. "Lashes appear up to 80% longer" Well with this sort of statement i just HAD to purchase it. Lashes should also look up to 117% longer after just 30days of use.

I thought WHATTT, thats crazy, lets test this stuff out. I got this one from Superdrug on offer for £6.99. I've been using it for a little over a week now and im really loving it. My lashes look lovely and long, and not clumpy when i have the macara on, and i noticed last night after i took off my makeup that my lashes do look suprisingly longer.

I am really liking this macara and all the reviews i have read so far have been positive. I will update in another couple of week to see if there is any progress.

Its summer time..well its practicaly over but we can still pretend.
Now as soon as the sun peeks out for a stretch you can be sure that the denim shorts will pop out to make a appearence. We all love denim shorts if you want to admit it or not, in my case i love them even though i dont wear them.
Tight, baggy, high wasited, hipster, retro you name it theres a style that you will bond with. Making denim shorts look pretty or very rock n roll is fairly easy and soo much fun. Team them up with flip flops and a floral print vest top, or slap on some biker boots and a motley crew baggy vest top and your on your way.

Trying to go brunette

Hola!
So im having a serious problem with my hair and dying it. I've decided to go brunette. This is the first time i've experienced such an issue with dying my hair, ever since i went back to blonde when ever i try to dye it darker it fades very quickly.

In the pic below im showing my hair colour now next to the dye i used so you can see the colour difference, after the first wash (a few days after i dyed it) it seemed to have faded back to the colour it was the week before..Grrr

Do you see what i mean? It was a lovely medium brown colour and after the first wash it faded LOTS, pretty much back to the colour it was before (nice n easy dye a couple of posts down from this)

I like the lighter brown...but its not what i want at the moment..i want the darker one :-(

Primark and Boots haul

This post should have been done quite a while ago but i have been rather lazy so im only just getting round to doing it.

First up is a couple of bits i picked up from Boots (maybe superdrug aswell)
I had to get some more Lee Stafford hair growth (£6.99) I used up my last pot and after the experience i had with my first pot i had to re-buy, i do LOVE this stuff. Alot of people have mentioned how much my hair has grown, wether it has or not is a different story but i really do feel it has made a difference, my hair feels very healthy too. Its a good buy if your interested.

Revlon PhotoReady foundation (£12.99) The first time i used this my skin did not agree, i had to re-apply about 3 times in one day..after that i carried on using it and i havent had an issue with it, im not sure if i prefer it to colorstay but it is a nice foundation, i like the shimmer and it comes with a pump (brilliant..all foundations should have a pump)

Barry M nail paint in Berry (lilac) 2.95(i think) This is my favourite nail varnish at the moment, its such a pretty lilac colour.

Earrings - primark.

So in my last post i blabbed on about trying out a Loreal highlighting kit as i wanted to go darker...well i chickened out obviously and got the Nice'n easy natural light golden brown (what a mouthful) ..but now im scared again...is it too dark? i dont know, i guess i could always use another product to put some highlights through it...anyway, i have it now so i might as well go ahead with it.

St Moriz tanning mist and mousse

Hey girls.
Just a quickie so talk about St moriz, now i know you've all heard reviews and thoughts on this tan and everyones fed up with hearing it now, but i have been meaning to do this since i started my blog.
I've recently purchased the St Moriz instant tanning mist (i use the mousse on a regular basis) I thought this version would be great for all those hard to reach places. The product is the same as the original tan, but this one is a dark brown liquid rather then a fluffy mousse. It applies pretty much the same as the mousse, i either spray straight onto my body (usually the harder to reach areas) or spray into my hand and rub in that way (please make sure to lay a towel down first, i have blobs of brown all over my carpet, woops)
I thought that the tan would be a clear liquid that would gradually build up the colour, so spraying that very annoying patch on your back you can never reach is ok..only if you can reach it to rub in the product lol.

Overall i love this product, its the best tan i have tried so far ( and i have tried MANY) Its easy to apply, nice brown colour (not too orange) and doesnt smell horrible.
I do prefer using the mousse but i will purchase the mist again, although this one will last me a long time.

Hello my beauties.
So i managed to grab myself the popular Eyeko graffiti eyeliner pen on a very geeky day out. I went to the London MCM expo along with my cousin and boyfriend, the expo is a geek convention mostly to do with video games, manga/anime and new movies ( i love all that stuff) Lots and LOTS of people dressed up. I remember the Eyeko stall being there the last time i went and luckily it was there again this time. I've been in a rather sad mood after finding out that Superdrug had discountiued the products and they are now only available online. So i took myself over to the Eyeko stall to see what wonders they had for sale, and Yippeee to me! They had what i wanted which was the eyeliner pen, in all the new colours, but i only picked it up in black.
Silly me not taking up the fantastic 3 for £10 offer they had going on that day, i am still very angry with myself about that, they even had the mascara that i now very much want, boo.

On with the product...The pen is fantastic, very easy to use, doesnt rub off easily and is jet black. Because the end up the nib is so thin you can get some fantastic flicks and wings out of it.

I am slightly dissapointed, i think i picked up the tester or one that had been used alot as i've been using it for roughly 2 weeks and its already started to lose its juice, now im not saying 'Ohh its the product it doesnt last long at all' I think i just picked up a poopey one.

Hair colour change...again

Sorry i have really slacked recently, i have so many updates and reviews to post.
First up is some pictures i have taken of my new hair, i wanted to go a bit darker, so i picked up a L'oreal dark blonde. I dyed it a very similar colour a couple of months ago, but it faded out again to a very light blonde, so hopefully this will stick around for longer.

Shall i dye my hair dark? or stay light?

I need some help, i've started growing my hair out as i was curious to see what my natural hair colour looked like seeing as i have been dying my hair for YEARS and had no clue what colour i was.
Im tempted to dye my hair a light brown - the colour that my natural hair looks or to stay blonde, but i dont know what shade of blonde OR i could go a light brown with blonde bits...arghh help me.

Hello my sweets.

So i thought it was time to give my hair extensions a trim..well..try that is. I cut them all to the same length, stuck them in my hair and they were all wonky and silly..GRR. Luckily my bf was here so he was able to trim them all straight for me, does anyone have any tips. I've taken a couple inches off i think, they do feel alot nicer and healthier..i just wish i didnt have to wear them :-( i want beautiful looong hair.
I think i want to cut them shorter...i dont know :-S

Also stopped off at Boots and grabbed some new hair spray, i havnt tried this one before, i usually use freeze hold which is mega strong but i dont really like the effect and look after i put it in my hair.
Aussie heat protection..i LOVE this stuff, it smells lush and it makes my hair feel super soft.
Lee Stafford Hair growth treatment. I've been using this product for about a week now, with every wash inbetween shampoo and conditioner and so far its done a great job, my hair has never felt so good, and it stays feeling soft and healthy, so im hoping its working magic on my roots and making my hair want to grow, seeing as it doesnt want to grow past a certain length grr.
And the Hot looks collection 2000 nail varnish.

Unfortunatly my bloody sequined primark bag has created bobles on the right bottom trim (also on my paris tshirt as i was wearing them together) So that is one warning about that bag..Its pretty but it ruins your clothes.

I've been so behind on blogging this week, i feel as though i have really missed out, busy week at work and spent all day shopping in Lincoln on tuesday.
Just a quickie to say how impressed i am with the Collection 2000 hot looks range of nail varnishes, i picked up this one in 33 Button moon, its such a lovely sea green colour. My nails dont like varnish so within the first day of applying the varnish starts to peal off, This one lasted a couple of days before it really started peeling. They have a great colour range, i want more!!

I have also purchased the collection 2000 big fake false lash effect mascara...i really wanted the maxfactor false lash effect mascara but thought i would give the C2000 one a chance...should have gone the with the maxfactor to be honest, it doesnt make my lashes that much bigger at all, slightly dissapointed but i will use it up before getting a new one :-)

I CANT STOP EATINGGG!!!
I annoy myself so much, i really really really want to lose weight this year (i say this EVERY YEAR) but i just dont have the will power to stop eating crappy food, its stupid, i just LOVE food.
Im very short, and curvy and very hungry all the time. I've been stuck at the same weight for the past couple of years and the past month my weight has just shot up, i dont notice it but my scales do!
Does anyone have any inspiring stories so make me think YES...i can do this!

The other day i picked up a very glam Hello Kitty charm bracelet from Claire's. From a make called Sanrio, its the cutest thing i've bought recently. Now...i've never EVER been into Hello Kitty, its never interested me before...until i saw the bracelet, its just got the 1 charm on it of HK's face covered in crystals. It was £7...and i was feeling cheap and didnt want to pay that, and the first one i picked up i noticed had a little stone missing on the side, and because im cheeky and i know the girls in there i got it for abit cheaper...yay :)

Hi Girls.

I need to get my arse in gear and start updating more.
Ok so i've noticed this little beauty floating around some blogs and just had to try it. Found it in boots for £24.99 and i am so happy with it, its really lovely and easy to use, i usually use my GHD straightners to curl my hair which can proove to be an absolute nightmare sometimes...my hair gets caught up in it and pulls...horrible. It heats up very quickly, its very easy and quick to use, there isnt a clip at the end of the wand to clip your hair down but that doesnt bother me.

These are great, give them a go if you have the chance

New bed covers

YAY...i've finally found some cute 'shabby chic' bed covers. i have been after some nice ones for ages now and came across these in Tesco...bargain at £11.

I just love them, shame the rest of my room doesnt match up, i hate decorating and having no time to do it :-( Im having trouble finding the furniture and little shabby chic bits and bobs i want for my room as well...so it makes it extra hard, boo.

I've been looking everywhere for some cardboard storage boxes in a simliar pattern, my mum had some but the sun light has really faded the colour on them now. I want some and i want them NOW....nevermind....ebay is rubbish sometimes.

I was going to do my Primark post tonight but i really cant be bothered, im so tired today :-( I didnt get as much from Primark as i was hoping, alot of things i've seen on the net and in blogs i couldnt find, so that was dissapointing but i still got some mega good stuff. Will update tomorrow.
